As a photographer in Mississippi, I am always on the hunt for fun, unique, or unconventional locations. Whether you're a a fellow photographer seeking inspiration or a client looking for something different, here are five location ideas to get those creative wheels turning!

1. Parking Garage

A parking garage might not be the first place you think of for a photo shoot, but its industrial vibe and dramatic lighting can create stunning images! The lines and shadows offer the perfect backdrop for couples or seniors who want an urban vibe!

2. Library or Bookstore

Libraries and bookstores provide a cozy, intellectual atmosphere for photo shoots. The rows of books, warm lighting, and quiet ambiance can create intimate, thoughtful portraits. This is the perfect location for my fellow bookworms!

3. Local Fair

A fair would bring vibrant colors and playful vibes to your photos! The food stalls, games, and rides would add multiple options for backgrounds and props!

4. Record Store

Who doesn't love the nostalgic feel of record stores? This would be the perfect setting for the music lovers.

5. Client's Home

Okay, hear me out. In-home sessions are about as unique as you can get. They are a great way to make your photos super personalized! What better place to shoot than the place you spend a majority of your time in? These are great for couples and families!
